Put On 02:58
You dropped a bomb Two cents in your palm Time to explain Why you ruined my day Won’t you? Brand new man I take what I can I build a new home From the diamonds that form Pressure At age twenty-one Tied the world to your thumb Hitched a ride on half A chance to have fun And got lucky Now it seems You’ve had all your dreams Pontificate About the life I’m wasting I can’t believe that Uptight And Wise Don't you realize? I need your words But not your Looks Down your nose and into the sky Put on A smile You looked like me for a while One day Soon I'll look like you And I'm sure that I'll be fine

It was the End of An era After all What's next For us Hard to say Free for all I'll never find a place like this again (x2) Time will Tell All Not not if It's all gone Today we Move out Tomorrow I'm moving on Ill never find a place like this again (x2) Time moves Too fast after Time moves too slow (x2) Nowhere To go And nothing To do Sleep all Day Long And stay up Until the dawn I'll never find a place like this again (x2) Getting Older But tell me What's the rush I know You know Memories Are just for us I'll never find a place like this again (x2) Cus time moves Too fast after Time moves Too slow (x2) Well they all said that we were wasting time The things that we said and did are hard to ifnd But I remember the feelings that we had Yeah it was time well wasted way back then Well they all said that we were wasting time The things that we said and did are hard to ifnd But I remember the feelings that we had Yeah it was time well wasted way back then Yeah it was time well wasted way back then Yeah it was time well wasted Time moves to fast after Time moves to slow

Toasty 04:34
You and I we use to laugh and dance around But now its not that way And every time we had the chance to get together It would be our day But now the sky is gray you’ve lost your sunny glow Now the waves move in Now she says to me that soon she’ll have to go But I don’t know when In the summer that we thought would never end How we’d laugh so loud When we knew that we were more than just a friend Never knew what we had found But now the sky is gray you’ve lost your sunny glow Now the train rolls in Now I KNOW that soon you’ll have to go But I don’t know when And I thought That we were happy And I thought That we were both having fun And I thought That we had made up And I thought You were the only one

I’m so in love I’m so in love I’m so in love, but I’m still feelin’ blue I’ve had enough, now times are tough I’m so in love, but she broke my heart in two I picked her up southbound Pacific Highway We drove from ‘Frisco down to San Berdoo We got there and she said “babe I’m goin’ my way” I’m so shook up, don’t know what I should do I met a girl out in Rachel, Nevada A lonely road they call Three-Seven-Five I chased her long but man, I never caught her I’m so shook up don’t know how I’ll survive Pack my box with five-dozen liquor jugs I’ll be sure to write you when I’m through I’ll make my way to good ol’ Isla Vista The only town I know will love me true

about

In the last summer before the Great Pandemic of 2020, a group of friends gathered at a beachside house somewhere on the California coast to play a game of Beer Die. As cheap beer flowed and glasses shattered with the impact of dice in freefall, the friends took turns with the aux cable, playing songs of various genres and quality. Though, like the tide and setting sun, the exact playlist has long since disappeared, Delta Dagger have decided to try and recreate it, here, on this album. We hope that through this music we can put you there, on that summer day amongst friends, and give you a little piece of sun-drunk happiness to enjoy wherever you find yourself. Behold: Brauheist 2006

about

Delta Dagger California

John Pagliassotti is the songwriter & primary musician behind Delta Dagger.

In late 2017, Orange County-based Delta Dagger Music Enterprises invented a songwriting & music production AI named Ulysses. After forcing Ulysses to listen to Spotify’s playlists for 3 weeks straight, the AI opened a Garageband project, created some MIDI tracks, & hit record. These are the results.
